This week, we focus on an important conversational skill… talking about yourself.
First, I modeled what I’m hoping you can do by the end of today’s class. We worked on this in small groups, using some question prompts made by you, following my example. Then we discussed what you’ll write about on the Blog, and I showed you how to use the Paragraph Blog on the LMS.
Week 2 Paragraph Practice
For Week 2, your Paragraph Practice should be about one of your classmates. Pick someone who sticks out in your mind as an interesting person, and write about them. Try to mention at least three interesting things they mentioned about themselves. Make sure you have good structure in your paragraph.
Non-Textbook Videos
There are no Non-Textbook Videos for this week’s class. Such videos would be impossible, since the vast majority of the classtime was spent with students talking to one another.
If you missed class, the best thing to do is talk to a friend from the class about it. If you missed class, you can write about yourself for the Paragraph Blog, but make it interesting.
